SUP! Stand up paddle boarding is quickly becoming the hottest way to catch waves in the world today. Stand up paddle boards are basically long and buoyant surf boards that you use a single blade paddle to propel forward.
If you are a beginner the calm waters of Mission Bay may be what you need to get started. The learning curve is quick and it shouldn’t take you long before your paddle boarding the waves in the open ocean.
If you are interested in a bit more of a challenge then dive right in and see what you got. La Jolla offers great surfing as well as paddle boarding.
